  • Substitute Cook - The Cole County R-I School District is accepting applications for substitute cooks.  Daily hours are from 6:30am-1:30pm and will be on a part-time/as-needed basis.

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Breakfast and lunch meal prep
  • Serving students and staff according to established recipes and portion control standards
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining environment according to food safety and sanitation guidelines

This can be a physically demanding role, requiring prolonged walking and standing, and the ability to lift and carry 20 pounds or more.

Hourly compensation begins at $15 per hour.

Jr/Sr High School Vacancies

The Cole R-1 School District has these positions open for the 26-27 school year.   • Substitute Teacher: To be qualified, you must have 36 college credit hours or a high school diploma and 20 hours of DESE training. Visit DESE's website to learn more about the Checklist for Substitute Teachers. Substitutes for our district are now (effective 10/21/2022) compensated $100 per school day.

 

Elementary School Vacancies

The Cole R-1 School District has these positions open for the 25-26 school year.
