School Board Elections
Board Candidate Filing Letter
The Cole County R-1 School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file as a candidate for the Tuesday, April 7, 2026 Municipal Election.
The District will accept filings at the Central Office located at 13600 Route C, Russellville, Missouri 65074.
Filing will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9th, and continue during the District's regular business hours, which are 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. The last day to file is on Tuesday, December 30th from 3:00pm-5:00pm. The names of qualified candidates shall be placed on the ballot in order of filing.
Filing will not occur on holidays when Central Office is closed, which are December 24th and December 25th.
There are 3 three-year term Board Member positions available.
